Mark joined Sassy Resources as its founding President and CEO following a 20-year career with Vale, Inco and Noranda.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Dalhousie University, a Master of Industrial Relations (MIR) degree from the University of Toronto and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management (MCPM) from the Schulich School of Business (York University). He brings a wealth of experience in mining, processing and exploration, strategic planning, projects, business and organizational development to his role with Sassy.
Spent more than 20 years providing financial management and consulting services to publicly traded companies, with primary emphasis in the resource sector.
Brings extensive capital markets expertise to Sassy, including a highly successful 28-year career as an Investment Advisor (Senior VP, Richardson GMP). Throughout his career, Richard advised and managed a diverse client base of over 2,000 accounts and was responsible for IPO’s, private placements and capital pool companies.
Robert J. Stewart

Most recently Manager of Regional Exploration and Mines Geology for Vale Canada’s Manitoba Operations. He has played a critical role in the discovery and development of multiple deposits and ore bodies over the course of his 30+ year career.

Expert in geological models and structural settings, has been directly involved in the discovery of six gold deposits in North and South America with three of those having gone into production.

Has 25 years of technical, operations and leadership experience with Noranda, Falconbridge, Xstrata, Vale and Stantec. She is currently innovation leader for Stantec’s energy and resources operating unit.

Terence F. Coughlan
(P.Geo., Technical Advisor)
Brings a 36 year track record of success in mineral exploration, operations and corporate development to Sassy. Mr. Coughlan is the former Chairman, President and CEO of GoGold Resources, a Canadian-based gold and silver producer with properties in Mexico. Previously, he was Vice President and Director of Gammon Gold Inc., and Vice President and Director of Acadian Mining Corporation. Mr. Coughlan is a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
